All the pensioners now have more option to smoothly generate and submit the Digital Life Certificate(DLC) or the Jeevan Praman Patra(JPP). If you are a retired senior citizen or you have parents who draw a pension, they could very quickly submit their life certificate nearby, in fact, they can order a doorstep facility for submitting online life certificate. As per the new government guidelines, DLC can be submitted any time throughout the year. The earlier November deadline has been foregone.
The 6 option of submitting life certificate by pensioners of Employee Pensioner Scheme 1995 are-
1)They can physically submit in 135 regional and 117 district offices of EPFO.
2) Can submit life certificates online through government’s Jeevan Pramaan portal https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/
3) Can visit the pension disbursing bank branch or the nearest post office.
4) JPP can be submitted at the nation-wide network of 3.65 lakh Common Service Centres(CSC)
5)UMANG app also allows this service
6) EPS pensioners can request for availing doorstep DLC service submission request with a nominal fee of Rs 70. A representative from the nearest Post Office will visit a pensioner and complete the process of generating Jeevan Praman Patra at the home of the pensioner.
